Hiba Academy Nantong is open!
While preparing for the school opening, we actively cooperated with the local authorities and implemented multiple protective measures, including conducting online teaching. We are ensuring that your child enters the new semester smoothly while also implementing the government's epidemic prevention requirements.
Hiba Academy Nantong has over 12,000 English and Chinese books in its libraries. Our librarians have prepared books suitable for all age groups and, after selecting some appropriate titles at our Induction Day, parents have now received their books to read with their children. We hope that Hiba pupils can explore the world of books both in school and at home.

On 1st September, when the campus was supposed to be bustling, the school was quietly serene. In response to the government's epidemic prevention requirements and to ensure the safety of all, we began to orderly implement online teaching.
Covid-19 separates us physically but enables us to be closer to each other via technology. In the unique online school opening activity, the teachers of Hiba Academy Nantong had one-on-one online communication with all the pupils in their classes.
In addition to one-on-one teacher-pupil exchanges, teachers also arranged online class gatherings to help children in the same class get to know each other and build friendships, and gradually carry out online teaching until the day when offline teaching resumes.
At the class exchange meeting of Grade 2, to everyone's surprise, the teachers skilfully integrated the children's characteristics and interests that they had learned in advance into the introduction process and quickly shortened the distance between them. Across the screen, the children are livelier, with excitement and curiosity on their faces without any timidity or shyness.
For an example, Lexie shared with her teacher that she likes painting in the one-on-one online communication. As a result, her tutor introduced her to several pupils who have the same hobbies with her during the assembly. Lexie is happy that her new classmates share a common interest with her and cannot wait to meet them as soon as possible.
Although the pandemic has delayed the pace of children returning to school, it has not stopped them from thriving. We are hopeful that the covid restrictions are nearing an end and that we will be able to meet you on campus on Tuesday 13th September.
