With the arrival of the fifth International Day of Mathematics, pupils of Hiba Academy Nantong celebrated and shared their thoughts and insights on mathematics in their unique ways.
Apart from the confident presentation and intense academic competitions of Grade 3 and Grade 7, pupils from other grades combined art performances with mathematical knowledge, showcasing their unique charm. Programs such as songs and short plays from Grade 1 and 2, and the stage play "The Story of Pi" from Grade 6, vividly presented mathematical knowledge through various forms such as music and stage plays, allowing pupils to learn, understand, and appreciate the beauty of mathematics in a joyful atmosphere.
At Hiba Academy Nantong, we do not emphasize the separation of subjects, but instead focus on cultivating pupils' comprehensive abilities through integrated thinking. Therefore, we actively promote clever course design, allowing pupils to not only learn the knowledge and skills of various subjects in class, but also integrate the learned content, creating new knowledge and experiences. In this event, pupils combined their mathematical knowledge with music, drama, and stage plays, fully demonstrating the benefits of interdisciplinary integration. This method helps guide pupils to form a comprehensive thinking mode, cultivate innovative and independent thinking abilities, and better meet the needs of today's society for talent.
