This week we invited Science teacher Mr. Chang and English teacher Mr. Maher to share their reasons for loving Hiba Academy Nantong. In addition to the open academic atmosphere, the unique house lifestyle and Hiba Values also makes them enjoy it very much.
As part of our holistic education, the house system at Hiba Academy Nantong is highly distinctive. We have four houses: Hui House, Xian House, Li House, and De House. Each House has its own unique logo and badge. All pupils are assigned to houses when they join Hiba Academy Nantong. Each house consists of pupils from all grade levels, and they communicate and interact with each other on a regular basis. The house ‘family’ is a warm home where members help each other and grow together.
All teachers and non-teaching team members will join the four houses. Every member of the Hiba community actively participates in activities of their respective house, creating an atmosphere of mutual assistance and progress. At the same time, in various house events, teachers also set a good example by applying Hiba values of "Kindness, Responsibility, Respect, Courage and Integrity" to help pupils gradually develop good qualities.
