Yesterday afternoon, the first annual end-of-year art exhibition of Hiba Academy Nantong was grandly showcased on the first floor of the theatre. All members of the Hiba community gathered here, filled with excitement and anticipation, to share and appreciate together. Artworks from pupils ranging from Grade 1 to 10 were assembled in one place, jointly celebrating the artistic progress and achievements of the pupils this year.
The first floor of the theatre was turned into a space brimming with artistic flair. The walls were adorned with paintings that pupils had crafted with great care; some depicted delicate observations of life while others were experiments with bold colours and lines. Moreover, three-dimensional works were colourful and diverse, with exquisite handwoven pieces, imaginative masks, each artwork testifying to the pupils' exploration in art and individual expression.
A multitude of artistic styles were on display here, whether it was the detailed realism that strived for lifelike accuracy, Impressionism with its ever-changing play of light and shadow, or the convention-breaking Cubism and Surrealism, as well as Abstract art that conveyed inner emotions and the anti-traditional Dadaism. The pupils' works reflected their understanding and application of various artistic styles.
This art exhibition was not only a collective showcase of the pupils' artistic achievements throughout the year, but also a review and affirmation of their creativity and imagination. Through this platform, the pupils had the chance to present themselves and communicate with others through art. We believe that in the future, more and more pupil works will be added to our art gallery.
