Wilderness Survival Training
The wilderness survival training course is structured around the crucial elements necessary for surviving in the wild. Curriculum takes into account the "wilderness survival priority" order, which results in a more logical, reasonable, and compact course. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge and practical application, allowing pupils to gain an array of skills while learning about essential survival techniques. The course consists of six classes, each lasting three hours, and includes two outdoor experiential classes.
Aesthetic Education
Art Exploration/Practice
The course will feature a bilingual approach and focus on embarking on an art journey that centers around each pupil's unique feelings and experiences. From multiple perspectives, the course will help pupils establish a concept of artistic development and express their concrete and abstract thinking relatively comprehensively. Using different methods, they will create and develop their own artistic language.
Personal Artistic IP Customised Project
The project aims to help children discover their artistic talents and potential, and form a unique artistic style and brand image by cultivating their artistic interests and creativity. The core of the project is to provide personalized art guidance and training for pupils to help them build confidence and self-awareness. The project operates in several stages: first, the project team will have in-depth communication with pupils and parents to understand their interests, hobbies, and potential, as well as their family's cultural background and expectations; second, the project team will tailor personalized art guidance and training plans for pupils, including the selection of art materials, skills training, work creation, and exhibition; finally, the project team will help pupils establish brand images and promotion channels, and through exhibitions, performances, publications, and other means, their works and brand images can be more widely spread and recognized.
Sporting Activities
Skiing/Snowboaring
In this course, pupils will learn how to wear ski equipment, master basic skiing skills, and how to safely move in the snow. The course is equipped with professional ski instructors who will provide personalized guidance and teaching to ensure that every pupil can have the best skiing experience.
Fencing (Foil)
The course aims to give pupils an understanding of a new sport, to appreciate fencing games and to experience fencing in action. Foil is classically the first weapon taught in fencing as it incorporates the features of epee. While the pupils are learning foil techniques, tactics and safety rules, we will keep it fun with games for agility and focus, as well as knowledge learning through videos and lectures.
Equestrianism
This course provides basic classes, intermediate advanced classes, and competition classes for pupils of different levels. Through the basic course, pupils can learn to control horses independently, including slow walking, fast walking, running, and standing and stopping transitions. In the advanced course, pupils have the opportunity to choose their training direction, whether it's dressage, show jumping, or both. The competition class is designed for pupils who have competition needs. In addition to equestrian skills training, it also provides multi-dimensional auxiliary training such as physical training, competition rules analysis, and competition psychology guidance, allowing the horse-rider combination to perform at their best level on the competition field.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is based on takedowns and ground fighting. It focuses on controlling the opponent through techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prides itself on being known as the "gentle art", which allows smaller practitioners to use leverage and submission techniques to defend themselves against larger opponents.
Finance & Business
BPA Business All-Around Challenge: Participants are required to complete multiple tasks within a specified time frame, including business case analysis, speech, and interview, demonstrating their business literacy and practical skills. The competition covers multiple fields such as marketing, financial management, and human resources management, aiming to cultivate students' business skills and leadership.
SIC Middle School Investment Challenge: Participants need to learn investment knowledge and skills through simulating investment environment and manage and optimize investment portfolios within a specified time frame. The competition aims to improve students' investment literacy and risk awareness.
NEC National Economics Challenge: Participants need to complete economic case analysis and propose solutions within a specified time frame, demonstrating their economic thinking and analytical skills. The competition covers multiple fields such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, and international trade, aiming to cultivate students' economic literacy and analytical skills.
Natural Sciences
Little Scientist
This course is an introductory-level course in genetics, designed for pupils with a keen interest in life sciences. Pupils will be immersed in various activities and experiments that encourage hands-on learning, promoting a better understanding of genetic knowledge. The course aims to enhance critical and creative scientific thinking, stimulating an interest in the field of biological science.
Academic Improvement
English Drama
In the course, students will have the opportunity to participate in a series of practical activities, including improvisation, script analysis, and performance. In addition, students will be encouraged to develop their own creative ideas and work with classmates to create their original works. At the end of the course, students will have a profound understanding of English drama art and cultivate a range of valuable skills in various professions, including communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity.
American Mathematics Competitions
The course mainly includes three levels of math competitions: AMC8, AMC10, and AMC12, covering various fields of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, and probability. The course focuses on teaching basic knowledge while also emphasizing the cultivation of pupils' mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills, allowing pupils to stand out in math competitions.
Introduction to PPE
This course aims to lead pupils to observe, think, and explore the world around them. Through political theory, philosophical thinking, and economic principles, pupils will consider the issues in society, politics, and the economy from a global perspective and propose policy-making or academic research directions.
