On October 26, 2024, Grade 5 pupils from all our sister schools gathered here in Nantong to participate in the 3rd Wellington College China Games. This grand sports event aims to promote interaction and cooperation amongst schools in the Wellington group. The children participated demonstrated a more composed, confident, and striving team spirit through their performances both on and off the field. Sports, like an invisible bond, closely connect people of different cultural backgrounds, skin colors, and languages.
This sports festival brought together pupils from Wellington College Tianjin, Wellington College International Shanghai, Hiba Academy Hangzhou, Wellington College Hangzhou and Hiba Academy Nantong. They were re-mixed into two teams to compete fiercely in six events: frisbee, tag rugby, bench ball, volleyball, football, and hockey.

Sports have always been a crucial part of Hiba’s holistic education, playing a positive role in students' physical and mental health and well-being.
