This week, as our new semester emerges, Hiba Academy Nantong's inaugural Extracurricular Activities (ECA) information sharing session commences. The event blends educational craftsmanship and artistic aesthetics, not only heralds the beginning of a new term but also composes an emotive movement of holistic education.
After a year of hardwork and innovation, the ECA team has transformed the courses we provide with into 75 rich and diverse offerings represent not only a leap in numbers but also the crystallization of holistic education.
Over 80 parents and 300 students and teachers participated in this fair. The most unforgettable event of the day was the dressage equestrian performance. Under soft lighting, riders in stunning attire controlled graceful steeds, like dancing notes, tracing elegant arcs across the arena. The horses' hooves were light, their movements fluid. Pupils on-site were deeply captivated by this visual feast of elegance and power, and through interactive sessions, they experienced the unique charm of equestrian sports. Professional instructors explained equestrian etiquette and safety knowledge to the pupils. To provide more pupils the hands-on experience, this ECA Fair specially set up an outdoor courses trial area. Pupils took part in various activities in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
As the core part of the event, the ECA exhibition was hosted at the Sports Hall, attracted many pupils and parents to stop by. From academic expansion to artistic creation, from sports competition to technological innovation, the ECA team offered a variety of choices for pupils with different interests and needs. Positive feedback from many participating parents, they stated that through this event, they gained clearer understanding of the school's holistic education approach and its benefits.
The head of the ECA department Ms. Jiang introduced that although this is the first time the school hold such an information sharing session, , aiming to provide clear understanding of the high-quality and diverse courses we are offering, the feedback from students, parents and staff post event was extremely positive. All recognised that there has been a tremendous improvement in the quality and quantity of CCA courses. At the same time, the academy courses over the weekend and holidays are
becoming increasingly welcomed by parents, whom hope that throughthese course offerings, pupils can plan for their weekend and summer activities.
Inside the Sports Hall, 83 ECA boothswere exhibiting: the robotics programming area flashes with blue light, the fencing booth's interplay of sword light and shadow strikes a balance of strength and beauty, and the creative art workshop inspiring pupils with its vibrant colors. Every corner hides a surprise, every inch of space pulses with a thirst for knowledge.
As the Chinese traditional music play linger around the school, we successfully concluded this inaugural extracurricular activities fair . Hiba Academy Nantong’s holistic education supports every pupil to find their own paths and success.
