This week, Hiba Academy Nantong Nursery brimmed with festive cheer, hosting a series of exciting events that offered children an unforgettable cultural feast. Accompanied by their parents, the little ones rolled up their sleeves, their tiny hands covered in flour as they kneaded dough and made dumplings. In the painting area, children depicted New Year scenes with colorful brushes, featuring big red envelopes and cute animals. At the paper-cutting station, children carefully crafted various window flowers, their innocent creativity shining through. In the clay modeling area, colorful clay transformed into adorable animals and plumpingots in their small hands. Meanwhile, in the calligraphy area, children wrote the character "福"with brush pens, each stroke filled with hope for the New Year.
During the Chinese Culture Week, Hiba Academy Nantong was filled with a strong atmosphere of traditional culture. At the beading workshop, pupils were diligently stringing together various beads to craft exquisite bracelets. The costume and styling display area was vibrant with colourful Hanfu and ancient-style attire, transporting attendees back in time. During the tea ceremony session, one could see children meticulously learning the art of tea-making under the guidance of a tea master, savoring a cup of aromatic tea. The paper-cutting workshop exhibited the art of crafting paper flowers with nimble hands, as pupils created delicate window decorations and auspicious patterns from red paper. The entire event scene vividly demonstrated the profound and extensive nature of Chinese traditional culture, brimming with a festive atmosphere and cultural significance.

Talent Show
The annual Chinese New Year Temple Fair was undoubtedly an excellent stage for Hiba Academy Nantong pupils to showcase their cultural confidence. Tradition met modernity, and art fused perfectly with culture, painting a vivid picture of cultural inheritance and innovation.
The event began with a powerful drum performance titled "Chinese Dragon." Eleven young drummers, eyes focused and hands swinging drumsticks vigorously, sent waves of thunderous beats echoing like spring thunder, igniting the crowd's enthusiasm and showcasing the grandeur of Chinese culture. This was followed by a soothing solo performance of the guzheng piece "Fragrant Jasmine," with nimble fingers plucking delicate notes creating a fresh, elegant melody that transported the audience to the gentle charm of Jiangnan's watery towns. The Chinese dance "Prosperous Dunhuang" featured dancers in colorful costumes, brilliantly showcasing the dynamic beauty of Dunhuang murals. The challenging dance moves and expressive performances took the audience back in time, demonstrating the unique allure of ancient art. The applause and cheers from the crowd filled the air.
Additionally, the opera medley segment was equally captivating. As the event drew to a close, the joyful chorus of "Greeting the New Year" resonated. All pupils gathered on stage, singing this jubilant song filled with festive spirit. Through the melody, they reminisced about the past year's joys and eagerly anticipated the new year, conveying their best wishes for the future.
