This week, Hiba Academy Nantong buzzed with renewed energy, balancing academic exploration and empowerment. The classrooms and extracurricular spaces were brimming with vibrant activities, enhancing the collaborative spirit between home and school.
On Wednesday, we successfully hosted the IGCSE options sharing session with parents, discussing potential future course directions for their children. Thursday's "Hiba Talk" live broadcast focused on the full boarding system, deciphering the support strategies for pupil growth within this system. In the ensuing assembly, a thrilling typing competition ignited enthusiasm, with many pupils participating to showcase their typing speeds.On Friday, we held our high school open day, welcoming prospective pupils and their families to experience our exceptional campus. Additionally, the parents’ reading club restarted this term, and we cordially invite all parents to join.
This week’s spotlight is on the school services team. The service department covers four major segments: catering, buses, uniforms, and the medical team. They are dedicated to continuously improving the service quality at Hiba Academy Nantong, consistently acting on feedback from pupils and parents.
Shout out this week go to Iris in Grade 1, who earned a bronze medal at the National Shanghai Conservatory of Music Talent Showcase. Equally noteworthy is Lynn in Grade 11, who secured a Certificate of Distinction in the American Mathematics competition. Additionally, a big applause to Filipe, Erika, and Afifa, our Model United Nations delegates, who showcased exemplary skills and talent in the Shanghai competition.
Looking ahead to next week, boarding pupil parents will have the opportunity to meet Ms Wei Qian, our new Head of Boarding, at a coffee gathering for boarding families. Also, Sunday will host the International Linguistics Olympiad, where we look forward to seeing our pupils excel.
