From 3rd March to 7th March, Hiba Academy Nantong is celebrating its annual "Book Week"! As a bilingual school that emphasis the importance of building reading ability and habit,, the week-long activities centred around books is designed as our tradition every year for all pupils, teachers, and parents . Here, books are not just carriers of words, they are cultural genes connecting the ancient and the modern, the East and the West, awaiting every Hiba pupil to resonate with through reading.
To make the week long event as diverse and engaging as possible, our Book Week will be anchored by three core modules: activities, competitions, and costume parades. By breaking the temporal boundaries of reading with modern expressions and providing multidimensional experiences, we aim to evoke individual engagement and collective synergy, making words come alive in our vibrant environment and allowing participants to experience the beauty of literature interactively.
During "BookWeek, " we will also host a Book Fair. The fair will display a wide array of Chinese and English books across various themes. Kindergarteners, Primary and Junior High pupils, and Senior pupils will be able to find age-appropriate books to enjoy, ensuring that every child can find a book from him or her’s "wish list."
