This has been a vibrant and accomplished week at Hiba Academy Nantong. We welcomed our annual review team, where external experts conducted on-site inspections and document verification to comprehensively evaluate our educational achievements. This professionally insightful report will later be shared with our parent community. Academically, our Year 10-11 pupils attended the International University Fair in Shanghai, engaging in in-depth discussions with admissions officers from world-renowned institutions to solidify their future academic planning.
Wednesday Nursery's Back to School event warmed hearts as parents of our nursery children attended the school for the day, to experience how learning happens in our wonderful nursery. Thursday's assembly ignited campus enthusiasm, with pupils discovering the "endless exploration" of disciplines through hands-on experiments and mathematical puzzles.
Our dedicated PMC team delivered an impressive annual performance: completing over 2,000 work orders in 2024, verifying 4,000+ visitor entries, managing 6,000+ parcel deliveries, while ensuring campus safety through 12 security drills and maintaining a zero-accident record. They pledge to elevate service standards in 2025.
Pupil achievements shone brightly. Grade 5 pupil Julian earned the "Best Midfielder" title at Shanghai Football Cup, together with our Grade 3 pupil Seven, his team Nantong Zhiyun claimed U9-U10 division silver medal. Grade 5 pupil Justin demonstrated our "Integrity" value by voluntarily returning the phone he mistaken from his mum to homeroom teacher’s custody. Artistry flourished as pupil Joyce led her team to elementary division victory in "Reading Week Classroom Door Decoration Competition" with innovative pop-up book designs, showcasing exceptional leadership and creativity.
Looking ahead, the American Computer Science League (ACSL) round approaches – best wishes to all participants. Our English department continues "Impromptu Writing" skill development, warmly inviting parental support in this academic journey.
