Weekly Roundup

01 Apr 2025

This week, in order to help parents better understand and support their children's growth, we specially organized three parent workshops focusing on ICT , Positive Parenting, as well as our Primary English sharing. These workshops not only provided parents with practical educational guidance but also built a bridge for home-school communication, helping children achieve greater progress in both academics and life.

In the field of sports, our U15 boys' football team engaged in an intense match with another school this week. The players demonstrated tenacious fighting spirit and significant improvement during the game. We are immensely proud of their efforts and teamwork, and we believe they will continue to grow in future matches.

Meanwhile, Hiba Academy Nantong welcomed a visiting delegation from Brunei Chinese High School, led by the Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau. This visit not only deepened the friendship between the two schools but also provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange and cooperation of educational philosophies and teaching methods. The delegation highly praised our school's teaching model and educational achievements, further advancing our exploration and practice in the field of international education.

This week, we spotlight our HR team. With a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism, they provide comprehensive support to every member of our school. It is worth mentioning that over 60% of our teaching staff at Hiba Academy Nantong hold master's degrees, possessing profound expertise and rich teaching experience. Additionally, the school has offered more than 25 individual training programs to support our staff in continuously enhancing their professional knowledge and educational skills, thereby better imparting knowledge and wisdom to every student.

This week's special recognition goes to Abylai and Milo from our kindergarten. Their reading abilities are astonishing, having reached a second-grade level, showcasing exceptional learning potential! In the third-grade classroom, we also commend Pedro, who was nominated by his teachers for showing unwavering kindness to his classmates, fully embodying the spirit of care and inclusivity promoted at Hiba Academy Nantong.

Looking ahead, the deadline for the Wellington English Writing Competition is April 7th. We look forward to the children's outstanding works!
