At the Horticultural Expo Park, pupils used GPS devices to become modern explorers. This treasure hunt not only taught navigation skills but also highlighted the city’s environmental stories, found in its soil and plant life. The activity brought together elements of STEM and the humanities, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking. By visiting cultural landmarks, pupils saw classroom geography come to life, with technology helping to deepen their understanding.
Hiking
The trails of Yuntai Mountain National Forest Park tested both physical and mental strength. Pupils made their way through forests and along rugged paths, each step building endurance. The rewarding views of the Yellow Sea and city skyline from the summit reminded everyone that effort and perseverance bring great rewards—both in hiking and in learning. Supporting each other along the way, pupils discovered the value of resilience, a quality that will help them meet future challenges.
