What Is Accreditation and Why It Matters

Accreditation is the act of granting recognition to an educational institution that maintains suitable standards. This is to assure the quality of the institution and assist in the improvement of the school.

Besides providing quality education for pupils and helping prospects find a job after graduating, accredited schools also provide pupils with financial aid such as access to deferral loans and grants.

Accreditations for International Schools

Wellington College Education (China) international schools are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), International Baccalaureate Organization World Schools (IBO) and Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

Accredited Programmes: IB, A Levels, LAMDA and Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

Our Shanghai campuses are certified to offer the IB examination. Our Tianjin, Hangzhou and Nantong campuses are certified to offer the A Level examinations. Our Tianjin and Hangzhou campuses are certified to offer LAMDA drama courses and examinations. We also offer the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
